Gangs of Godavari's OTT release date is out - Deets inside

MUMBAI: Vishwak Sen’s latest offering is Gangs of Godavari. After its two-week-long theatrical run, the film is all set to release on OTT. Yes! You read it right. The makers of the movie have revealed that the OTT rights have been taken by Netflix and will be available on Netflix on 14 June in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The OTT platform had posted a caption where they mentioned the release date of Gangs of Godavari. They had written, "Manushulu moodu rakhalu, naashi rakham, rendodhi boshi rakham, moododhi nanyamaina rakham. Ee mooditini dhaati charithalo migilipovadaniki Lankala Ratnam osthunnadu.#GangsofGodavari coming to Netflix on 14 June in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada".

Talking about the movie, it has been directed by Krishna Chaitanya and has Vishwak Sen. Reportedly, the film did not resonate with the audiences despite its hype and was slammed for its weak writing, however, the performances of the lead stars received a lot of praise. Some of the fans who did not enjoy the movie did find it to be a mass entertainer and also praised the performances of everyone. Well, on the flip side, the film did receive negative views from the fans who were not happy with the editing of the movie and the weird narration. The film comparatively received less competition from other movies that were released and failed to attract audiences to the theatre. Well, with the OTT release, the film will be resonating with the audiences hopefully and get a better viewership.
