MUMBAI: After the monumental success of RRR, Jr. NTR is gearing up for yet another cinematic extravaganza, this time joining hands with visionary director Prashanth Neel, the mastermind behind K.G.F: Chapter 1, K.G.F: Chapter 2, and Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. Their upcoming collaboration, tentatively titled NTRNeel, has already sent waves of excitement through the industry. Backed by the renowned Mythri Movie Makers, the film is set to be a massive action drama crafted on a staggering budget of ₹360 crore, making it one of the most ambitious Indian films to date.
While there is no official confirmation from the makers or Jr. NTR regarding the budget, reports suggest that the project will be mounted on an epic scale, with Prashanth Neel’s signature high-octane storytelling at its core. The shooting for the film has officially commenced at Ramoji Film City, where Neel orchestrated a massive riot scene featuring nearly 3,000 extras, promising an electrifying cinematic experience. Jr. NTR is expected to join the sets for the next schedule, set to begin in March 2025.
Adding to the excitement, Rukmini Vasanth and Tovino Thomas are rumored to be part of this action-packed spectacle. Reports also hint at the film being titled Dragon, with a grand theatrical release locked for January 9, 2026.
