MUMBAI: Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has a massive fan following. He has worked not just in South films but also tried his hand at Hindi films. The actor who was recently vacationing in the USA with his family has undergone a knee surgery due to infection found in his kneecap. The surgery was done at a private hospital in Delhi.
Earlier there were reports that the Indra actor would have the surgery in Bengaluru but that news turned out to be false. The actor who was recently seen in the actioner Bhola Shankar is currently recuperating and will be taking a 45 days break for his knee to heal.
As per reports, Chiranjeevi’s knee had been troubling him for a long time and thus he finally decided to get it operated on. He will be taking a break from his work commitments to recovery sooner.
On the work front, he was last seen in Bhola Shankar directed by Meher Ramesh and also stars Keerthy Suresh and Tamannaah Bhatia. The film is the official remake of the Tamil hit Vedalam starring Ajith Kumar in the lead.
