On the personal front, she is dating director Vignesh Shivan. The couple never fails to set major relationship goals for their fans and followers. The two are now all set to enter wedlock.
Post dating each other for close to seven years, the couple is planning to tie the knot in Chennai on Thursday, June 9. Over the weekend, the two met Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin and offered him an invitation to their wedding.
It seems Kollywood's top celebrities such as Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan, Ajith and others will come for the marriage. News has come that the entire ceremony will be shot and streamed on a global OTT platform. Rumour has it that Netflix has bought the streaming rights of the marriage. It will be filmed like a documentary. If this is true, then this is the first for an Indian celeb. Social media is wondering how much Nayanthara charged Netflix if the gossip was indeed true. She commands Rs four to five crore a film. The nuptials will happen on June 9. On June 8, they will host a starry reception.
The two have chosen Mahabalipuram for the wedding. It seems the reception will happen on June 8 while the wedding is from 4 am to 7 am in the morning. Gautam Vasudev Menon is expected to shoot the alleged wedding video.
For the uninitiated, the lovebirds started dating each other when they worked together on his second directorial, Naanum Rowdydhaan.
On the work front, Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara worked on the romantic comedy Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
