Shocking! Leo’s 7am show canceled after Thalapathy Vijay’s fans vandalise Chennai’s iconic Rohini theatre

The film Leo is now in the news for all the wrong reasons. Just a day before its release, the film has landed in trouble. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan has now shared that the film’s 4am as well as 7am shows have been canceled by the Tamil Nadu Government

MUMBAI:The Tamil language action thriller Leo is currently grabbing the attention of the fans. The movie that is directed by Lokesh Kanagraj is all set to hit the theatres tommorow. We have earlier seen the magic of the director in his movies like Vikram and Kaithi which were blockbusters.

The film Leo is now in the news for all the wrong reasons. Just a day before its release, the film has landed in trouble. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan has now shared that the film’s 4am as well as 7am shows have been canceled by the Tamil Nadu Government, along with banning the teaser and trailer celebrations of the film inside the theater, due to Vijay’s fans having vandalised the iconic Rohini cinema hall in Chennai.

He wrote, “Tamil Nadu government REFUSES to accept Madras High Court’s reconsideration on #Leo 7 am shows. Hence it is CLEAR now that there is no 4 am or 7 am shows for #LokeshKanagaraj’s #LeoFilm. As stated in earlier GO, Joseph Vijay’s #LEOFDFS will start only at 9 am.”

The makers of Leo have challenged this decision in the Madras High Court, however, the court has now left the matter in the hands of the Tamil Nadu Government asking if they would allow the earliest show at 7:00 am but the government has clearly refused.

Leo is an action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin and Priya Anand in pivotal roles. It also stars Hindi film actor Sanjay Dutt. It will hit cinemas on 19th October 2023.
