MUMBAI: Shruti Haasan’s Hollywood debut The Eye is already making waves, and Nayanthara couldn’t be prouder! The Jawan star recently gave Shruti a special shoutout by sharing the trailer of the film on Instagram, writing, “Sooo Good Shrutz.” The heartwarming gesture had fans buzzing.
In The Eye, Shruti plays the lead role alongside The Last Kingdom actor Mark Rowley. Directed by Daphne Schmon, the film has been earning applause at global film festivals and recently had its India premiere at the Wench Film Festival. With its growing list of accolades, Shruti’s powerful performance is clearly making an impact.
While The Eye is shining internationally, Shruti is keeping busy back home as well. She’s currently on set for Coolie, her upcoming project with Rajinikanth, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
