MUMBAI: Michael, written and directed by Ranjit Jayakodi, is a bi-lingual film that is set to release very soon. The movie stars Sundeep Kishan in the titular role, along with Vijay Sethupathi and Gautham Menon in vital roles. Fans are very excited to see what they can expect from the film. Now finally, the trailer of the much-awaited film was released on Monday.
The trailer begins with a brief explanation of Black widow spiders. Gautham’s character explains that it is the kind of spider species that kills the male spider right after mating season gets over. There are even some hints that equate a woman's love to a sticky spider web and that men are destined to destruction in that lying web. The whole trailer emanates a seemingly cynical view of love and romantic relationships. The video is full of electric, blood-spurting, and bone-breaking action sequences.

Sundeep Kishan has prepared for this role well and has even undergone an amazing transformation by buffing up for his character Michael, who seeks out violence. He seems to enjoy carrying out violence and doesn’t hold the same dark view as Gautham regarding love and women. Gautham asks him, “Are you doing all this just for a girl, Michael?”, to which he replies, “Yes. Why should a man be alive, if not for a girl?”
Vijay Sethupathi is seen very less in the trailer and it is uncertain as to what the extent of his role is in the film. The movie also features Divyansha Kaushik, Varun Sandesh, Ayyappa Sharma, Anasuya, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and is all set to hit theatres on 3rd February.
