MUMBAI: Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film Thug Life has been in the news for quite some time now. Lead actor Joju George who stars in the film, unfortunately got injured during an action scene. While performing a helicopter action scene in the film, George reportedly got injured.

As per reports, the event happened during a high-risk performance involving a helicopter leap at an airfield in Pondicherry. Joju was filming scenes requiring actors to leap out of a helicopter alongside Kamal Haasan and Nasser. Unfortunately, the 46-year-old celebrity lost control of the trick and fell, shattering his left foot.

Joju George was transported to the hospital, where X-rays confirmed his fractures. Despite medical recommendations to rest for a week with a plaster cast, the actor returned to finish filming in Pondicherry the next night.
