MUMBAI: Star Plus’s show ‘Advocate Anjali Awasthi’ explores an unfamiliar territory. The show stars Shritama Mitra as Advocate Anjali Awasthi and Ankit Raizada as Aman Singh Rajpoot. Advocate Anjali Awasthi is a strong and fearless character; she craves recognition for her genius, and this compels the audience to root for her cause—justice for the downtrodden.

Raghav wants Yuvraj to marry Mehak and she agrees to it even though she is not sure about it. While Mehak accepts this forceful decision, Anjali takes a stand for her and decides to fight on her behalf as she knows what kind of a person Yuvraj is.
Anjali tries all the best ways possible to stop this wedding and even Aman supports her in this battle against Raghav, Yuvraj and Chandraman. Anjali plans with Padma and asks her to fake her pregnancy, claiming that Yuvraj is the father of her child.
On wedding day, Padma gets kidnapped and Raghav taunts Anjali but she turns the table by later bringing Padma back. Padma shows the pregnancy reports to Mehak. On seeing the reports, Mehak slaps Yuvraj.
Yuvraj gets accused of cheating and Mehak tells him to take the responsibility of Padma’s unborn child.
