MUMBAI: Star Plus show Anupamaa is a one of a kind show and the audience cannot have enough of the drama.
Right from the inception of the show, people have enjoyed the drama featuring Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma and Rupali Ganguly in the lead roles. The show started off by narrating a tale about Anupamaa, who parts with her ambitions and goals in a bid to raise her family, feels dejected when she fails to get any credit for her sacrifices and trials. She then decides to live on her own terms.

It was earlier seen that Malvika gets to witness domestic violence when she sees a strange couple fighting outdoors and it breaks her down.
She runs into her room and locks herself. Anupama manages to open the door with a lot of effort and finds Malvika shattered.
Malvika breaks down completely as she is reminded of her own past married life that was filled with domestic violence.
Malvika is dealing with this depression regarding her past when Anuj had got her married to an NRI but in reality, he was an animal who used to beat Malvika and molested her every day.
Anuj gets shocked to know about it all and finally with a heavy heart unfolds the same to Anupama.
Anupama has also been through this phase and understands the trauma very well.
