MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Malti Devi recalling her painful past.

Previously, Malti Devi will be hit with the biggest guilt of her life recalling her past. She will remember her perfect family where she had a husband and son.

She will go to America to fulfill the childhood dream she had, leaving her husband and child behind.
As the years passed, however, Malti Devi has been burdened by the guilt of leaving her family behind. Now seeing Anupama give up on her career to be there for her family has hit her like a lightening bolt and she slips into depression.
