MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Maya’s obsession with Anuj.

Previously, Maya will start behaving irrational after learning that Anuj too is planning to leave with Anupama to go to America.
Maya will be mentally disturbed knowing this and is not willing to let go off him at any cost.
Maya will get violent and try to hurt Anupama, but Anuj will come in time and save Anupama.
Maya will cross all boundaries and try to run over Anupama with her car.
Maya however will lose control of her car and meet with a horrific accident where she will end up dead instead of Anupama.

As Maya is leaving the world, she will request Anupama to take care of Choti Anu.
