It was previously seen how the bell rings and Karan heads to open the door, he sees Sonakshi. She mentions that she is here for Preeta, to take a stand for her. Sonakshi comes to the Luthra mansion for the last goodbye before going to London. She apologises to everyone and even pleads to Preeta to not break the sisters bond with her. Preeta agrees to keep the bond intact and asks her to never come back to the Luthra mansion.
Preeta's good words for Sonakshi leaves the family in shock, they aren't ready to believe her true character.
The next day reports finally come and Karan and Preeta call the doctor. She reveals that the treatment would take a long time for Preeta to conceive. Preeta feels disheartened, Kareena and the family go to a heartbroken Preeran, and Kareena suggests adoption to them as the best solution to their problem.
In the upcoming episode, Preeta and Karan agree upon Kareena's suggestion and decide to adopt a child. While praying, Preeta meets a cute little Krishna Pihu. Kareena makes them meet the ladies from NGO and they complete the formalities for adoption.
Finally, Karan and Preeta get Pihu as their cute little daughter and Pihu gets such a loving family.
