MUMBAI : Delving into the lives of two strong-willed women from two diametrically opposing societal settings, each inspirational in their respective worlds, Sony Entertainment Television brings viewers a captivating story with ‘Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum’. The show follows the journey of Damayanti, the principled traditionalist matriarch of the royal Barot family based in Ranak and Surilii, a vibrant and modern thinking young girl.

In the previous episode, a heartbroken and shattered Swatilekha cries as her dream of marrying Shivendra is destroyed right before her eyes.
On the other hand, Shivendra gives a warm welcome to Surilii into his world, embracing her with open arms.
He believes that a simplified life is more beautiful and eagerly awaits the joy and colors that Surilii will bring into his life.
However, fuelled by anger due to her daughter’s heartbreak, Madhumalti confronts Hariprasad, expressing her anger at the empty promises of the royal family and his disregard for Swatilekha's future due to his political pursuits.
As she feels this unjust upon her daughter, determined and resolute, Madhumalti sets her mind on taking action.
In the upcoming episode, Surilii and Shivendra, along with others, sit together at the dining table, ready for lunch.
However, Shivendra feels upset when he realises that his mother, Damayanti, is not there, as she is usually the one who initiates the prayer before meals.
Surilii asks him to convince her to join them. Shivendra agrees and decides to go.
Shivendra enters Damayanti's room, where she starts to accuse him of breaking family traditions, expressing doubt that things will ever go back to normal.
