MUMBAI: Star Plus, a premier entertaining channel known to deliver extraordinary content and venture into unexplored territory, has brought its audience a new show, Jhanak. Hiba Nawab will be seen essaying the titular role of Jhanak in the show, along with Krushal Ahuja aka Anirudh as the main protagonist, and Chandani Sharma will essay the character of Arshi in the show. The storyline takes a compelling twist as Anirudh, joined by Choton, orchestrates a plan to take Jhanak, leading to unexpected consequences.

Earlier, Jhanak decided to end her life and took pills. As Jhanak was about to fall, Appu held her, and left everyone shocked by revealing foam coming from Jhanak’s mouth. As Anirudh took Jhanak to her room, Anirudh blamed his father and family for Jhanak's condition. He also drove impatiently while rushing her to the hospital, despite Chotan's warnings to be careful.

Now, Shrishti tells Arshi that she will perform with her only condition when Jhanak would not be performing there. Arshi tries to assure her mother that Jhanak will surely not perform in the event as Jhanak has attempted suicide. She also tells her that Tanuja Aunty has given Jhanak too much work to finish therefore she will not come to the event. Shrishti even tries to tell Arshi that Jhanak is gradually replacing her in Anirudh's life.

Arshi asks Anirudh about the new face segment where Appu is singing and who will perform next, while Anirudh wishes them both success in their performance. In the meanwhile, he gets a call from Choton, who is bringing Jhanak to the event. Anirudh tells Choton that Appu said that she will not perform if Jhanak isn’t there.

Arshi starts to become restless and asks him if he is helping Jhanak with the performance after he answers the call. However, Anirudh ignores her questions, telling her he has to go since he's in a rush.
