MUMBAI : Star Plus’ latest show, 'Jhanak', features Hiba Nawab in the titular role of Jhanak, Krushal Ahuja as Anirudh, and Chandani Sharma as Arshi. Earlier, everyone was shocked when Lalon got arrested during the wedding festivities. While Jhanak took a stand for him and fought for him in front of everyone and supported him. She even asked for an arrest warrant from the police officials and tried to convince police officials that he was innocent.
On the other hand, Anirudh recalls the night when he and Jhanak spent time together. Therefore, he feels guilty about it. In the police station, Shubh was exposed for trying to falsely accuse Lalon. They have come to frame Lalon for the wrong reasons.
Now, Anirudh apologizes to Jhanak saying that maybe his father doesn’t deserve respect. He feels guilty for hurting her feelings once again. She tells him that she does not have any personal enmity with his father and she wants to see Appu and Lalon happy.
She even taunts him by saying stop saying sorry to everyone. At least not to the woman who is falsely putting the responsibility of her legitimate child on him which leaves Anirudh in splits.
