MUMBAI: Kumkum Bhagya has frequently managed to gain the top position from the time of its inception, all thanks to the outstanding cast and gripping storyline. Fans are in awe of the chemistry between the lead couple Prachi and Ranbir played by Mugdha Chapekar and Krishna Kaul respectively. Tina Ann Philip aka Rhea plays a grey character.

In order to prove that Ranbir is the father, Ranbir and Prachi decide to get the child's DNA test done. Rhea panics and manipulates the reports to prove Prachi characterless.
Later, everyone gets shocked when the report says that Ranbir isn't the father. Pallavi decides to end the matter by asking Prachi to leave the house as she was interested only in Ranbir's child.
Shockingly, Ranbir stands in Prachi’s support in spite of what the report says and he decides to leave the house along with her.
Rhea and Pallavi try to stop Ranbir but he doesn’t listen. Prachi is moved when Ranbir says that his trust does not depend on any report.
Ranbir confesses his mistake of doubting Prachi and promises to never repeat it again.
