MUMBAI : Shritama Mitra plays the lead in Advocate Anjali Awasthi's Hindi television debut.
Anjali Awasthi, the protagonist of the series, is a fierce and daring attorney who challenges influential people in her pursuit of justice. One important plot point is her defence of Padma, a maid who was beaten by Yash, the son of a wealthy man. Her personal and professional hardships are shown in the show as she encounters roadblocks and grave threats from those attempting to undermine her.
Umesh Ghadge plays the main antagonist in the serial as Raghav Singh Rajput.
In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Umesh shared his experience shooting for the show and what he likes most about his character.
Umesh shared, “This is a great show and it is very close to my heart. The character of Raghav Singh Rajput is a little different from what I have done so far and I am thoroughly enjoying this phase. The show primarily revolves around Anjali and him.
Raghav Singh Rajput will have many layers to his personality. Currently he is seen as the head of the family who is a famous advocate too. He is very arrogant and harsh and is the main antagonist however, in the later stages, it will be known that he is not actually a bad person by heart and there will also be a lighter side to him.”
Umesh is known for acting in Made In Heaven, Scam and Breathe into the shadows. He debuted as a director with critically acclaimed Marathi film Welcome Zindagi followed by Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 and a comedy web series Life Sahi Hai 2. He was seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin in a pivotal role.
