Randhir and Amrit are standing as pillars of strength for each other, here Randhir is not well and Amrit is taking all care of him.
Amrit is putting her efforts like anything to help Randhir and here Randhir can see that and feels bad.
Randhir feels bad that he is paralysed and isn't worth Amrit and he thus breaks alliance with her.
Amrit is shocked and knows that Randhir is doing this out of guilt and she will not let him do that.
Amrit thus traps herself in the fire as she very well knows that Randhir will not be able to see her in danger and will move up to help her.
