MUMBAI : Star Plus’s show Maati Se Bandhi Dor, stars Rutuja Bagwe and Ankit Gupta in lead roles. Rutuja Bagwe will be seen essaying the roles of Vaijanati (Vaiju) and Ankit Gupta to portray the character of Rannvijay in the show. Maati Se Bandhi Dor also delves into the complexities of relationships and the diversity of the local culture.

Vaiju seems to be going back to Jhumri Pathak, where she is reluctant to interfere with Rana and Jaya's marriage. Vaiju is aware of Rana's deep love for Jaya, but she is also ignorant of the truth that Rana has now developed special feelings for Vaiju.
After Vaiju has left Rana grows restless behind and cancels the arrangement to see Vaiju with his entire family. In Jhumri Pathak, Rana has secretly planned to meet Vaiju by himself. He lies to Jaya and heads to meet Vaiju all alone.
Conversely, Vaiju now crosses paths with her former friend, police officer Milind Apte. It seems that he was formerly in love with Vaiju, and Rana is about to explode with jealousy at witnessing Vaiju interacting with the new man.
