MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anuj sending Choti Anu away.

Currently, we see that Anuj lashes out at Baa and claims that he won’t tolerate an incident like today again in the future. On the other hand, Anu wonders if her parents are fighting because of her. Anupama and Anuj are still having a strained bond and it is witnessed by the little girl.
Baa then talks to Vanraj and he asks Baa to speak up clearly and she talks about the helplessness of parents in their old-age and the freedom it gives anyone to insult them. Vanraj wonders about what happened at home.
Anu is going somewhere and she wants a family picture before she leaves and clicks a selfie with everyone. While Anuj is not happy about it, he is doing it for Anu’s happiness.
According to the latest promo, Anuj’s patience reaches it’s limits and he lashes out at everyone as both the families stand together.
Anuj tells everyone, especially to Anupama, that there are not so many fights in a war as there are between these two families and that from now on each family member will only look after their own family.
He tells Anupama that he loves her deeply but the problems of this family aren’t his to deal with.
He further tells her that it’s going to be a new year and new story but if this keeps on continuing even in the new year then she will lose Choti Anu and him. This shocks Anupama.
