The show is set in a Marathi backdrop and depicts a wife’s emotional rollercoaster journey and how she transforms her reluctant husband into a responsible person, which at some level affects the family. It portrays the story of Kanwar Dhillon as Sachin and Neha Hasora as Sayali and the details of the relationships and equations.

It was previously revealed that Sachin would hold Sayali accountable for forcing Akash and Riya into marriage against their families' desires. Sachin would become enraged and Joy and Mamta would get Paresh imprisoned.
