MUMBAI: Yeh Hai Chahatein is a passionate love story between a famous rockstar, Rudraksh Khurana, and a gynecologist, Dr. Preesha Srinivasan, who fall in love while raising his brother’s son, Saransh, together.
The show is gearing up for some interesting twists and turns.
In the previous episode, Preesha reaches Nalini's house where she meets her mother.
Preesha asks if she knows Nalini’s boyfriend and it is then that her mother shows her a picture of Nalini’s boyfriend.
Preesha is shocked to see the picture but soon connects the dots and everything starts making sense to her.
Later, Preesha meets the truck driver and asks him who paid him for the job.
Revati and Rakesh watch the news and it’s shown that Nalini met with an accident where the truck driver is arrested. The news informs that Nalini was pregnant and the child is safe. The reporter also adds that the DNA samples of the child are saved as it will be used to search for the child’s father.
Rakesh devises a plan to steal the DNA samples from the lab but doesn't realize that it is in fact a trap. Preesha will be waiting for him in the lab as he arrives.
Rakesh is left shocked seeing Preesha there.

In the upcoming episode, we see how slyly, Preesha gains Budhiya's adress and leaves to find his family.
Later, Preesha follows Budhiya’s wife and kid and sees that they are entering a school.
Preesha guesses that maybe because Budhiya was paid well for his job, the wife is here to get her son’s admission or maybe now that Budhiya is in jail, the wife is here to get a teacher’s job.
When later, Preesha reaches the hospital, a nurse informs her that they could not save Nalini.
Preesha feels upset as she was the one person who could expose Rakesh to the world, especially to Revati.
While Preesha feels upset, the media comes over there to ask her questions about what she is doing in a hospital.
Preesha tells the whole story about how she met a girl named Nalini in a temple who was pregnant but unfortunately got into an accident.
Preesha also informs them that the doctors could not save Nalini but have successfully saved Nalini’s baby whose DNA samples are taken and kept in a pathology lab in order to find out who her husband was. This is just so that they can inform her husband and perform the last rites.
This news gets out to the world.
