The veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha posted behind-the-scenes photos from his daughter's special night on social media a few days after Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's dreamy marriage ceremony, called the "wedding of the century."

She finally married the love of her life Zaheer Iqbal in an intimate ceremony on 23rs June at her Bandra apartment.

There were also rumors that her family disapproved of her marriage to Zaheer. Trolls attacked the couple over their interfaith marriage, drawing criticism to their small-scale Bandra ceremony.

Among the guests were Sonakshi Sinha’s BFF Huma Qureshi who was seen with acting coach Rachit Singh. As per rumors, Huma and Rachit are dating.

Sonaskhi and Zaheer later hosted a lavish wedding reception at Shilpa Shetty’s restaurant Bastian. The actress meanwhile has been facing brutal trolling for her inter-faith marriage.

When the newlyweds gave their first lavish party that evening, Zaheer made sure to make his bride blush by grooving with her on the dance floor. Sonakshi and Zaheer can be seen enjoying their first dance together as husband and wife to the song "Afreen Afreen" in several pictures and videos from their reception that have since gone viral.

The actress shared a few pictures right after registering for marriage on June 23, 2024, and the social media community is completely blowing it over them. Along with the pictures, she sent a heartfelt note in which she disclosed that on this particular day in 2017, they were in love. They've started their new journey together after dating for a few years. However, it was Sonakshi's wedding outfit that really drew everyone's attention.

But now that the father and his future son-in-law Zaheer Iqbal have finally taken photos, everything in the family appears to be going well.

The couple apparently gave the marriage registrar the required one-month notice following the Special Marriage Act, of 1954, and it appears that this will be the basis for the marriage. According to Ratansi, The June 23 wedding might take place at his Bandra home on Carter Road.
