Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd as we know, planned to recreate ‘<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/rohit-khurana-play-beast-shashi-sumeet-mittals-next-sony>Beauty and the Beast</a>’ for Sony Entertainment Television. Just today (12 September 2012), we came up with a story that this untitled show will in all probability replace <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/byaah-hamari-bahu-ka-end-18-october>Byaah Hamari Bahu Ka</a></em> (Hats off Productions).

Byaah Hamari Bahu Ka, produced by Hats Off Productions was launched on Sony Entertainment Television with the unique USP of the ‘<em>Bahu</em>’ of the house getting remarried. However, the plot did not appeal to the viewers and the show failed to deliver in numbers. As per the research conducted, there was an opinion that viewers would start liking the show once the girl got married, and this is when the makers took the story ahead in a hurry. But all their efforts did not bring in the numbers.

A certain section of the media had reported about Neil Bhatt being finalised for Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd’s upcoming show for Sony Entertainment Television, tentatively titled <em>Beauty and the Beast</em>. But we have learnt something else. Our sources have confirmed us that young and handsome <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/abhishek-malik-quits-chhal-sheh-aur-maat>Abhishek Malik</a> has bagged the lead role, not Neil.
