Abhishek Malik to return on television with Shashi-Sumeet Mittal's next on Sony

A certain section of the media had reported about Neil Bhatt being finalised for Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd’s upcoming show for Sony Entertainment Television, tentatively titled Beauty and the Beast. But we have learnt something else. Our sources have confirmed us that young and handsome Abhishek Malik has bagged the lead role, not Neil. Yes, you heard it right… The actor, who opted out from Colors’ Chhal Sheh Aur Maat, in which he was essaying the character of Rishi, got immediately lucky after making a move. He will now be seen in a pivotal role in Beauty and the Beast. If sources are to be believed, this young lad has already signed on the dotted lines. Abhishek Malik and Sargun Mehta have so far been finalised to play the leads. “That’s true. I have been approached for Shashi-Sumeet’s show but I can’t comment anything on the same.
