Today, the Dream Girl of Hindi movies have turned 76 and while many are celebrating this day, Hema Malini’s daughter, actress Esha Deol posted a picture, wishing Hema Malini a very happy birthday.

Esha acknowledged that it took her some time to persuade her father, but in the end, he gave in.

Following the release of her debut film, Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe, Esha recently talked about being compared to her mother, the actress Hema Malini. The actress from Dhoom also disclosed that following the 2002 movie's release, she experienced body shaming due to her "baby fat".

For the universed, the film was directed by Anurag Singh and was produced by JP Dutta, Nidhi Dutta and Bhushan Kumar.

The follow-up film became a massive box office hit, grossing almost Rs 625 crore in India. One of 2023's biggest hits is said to be the Sunny and Ameesha film.

Fans were shocked when Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani split after 11 years of marriage. The actor and businessman issued a joint statement in February, announcing their marriage was over. On Monday, Esha celebrated their younger daughter Miraya's fifth birthday with a sweet Instagram post.

Her half-brothers are Bobby and Sunny Deol, and her parents are famous actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra. However, unlike their situation, Esha's acting career hasn't been easy because of Dharmendra's reservations.
