Nawazuddin Siddiqui all set to get back with a bang in 2013

Endemol ropes in director Sekhar Kammula for Kahaani remake in Tamil, Telugu

It’s news that Endemol India had acquired the remake rights of Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani for Tamil and Telugu about six months ago. After a brief lull, Endemol India and Select Media Holdings Pvt. Ltd, in their pursuance to go ahead with the remake of <em>Kahaani </em> in these two South Indian languages, have roped in critically acclaimed filmmaker Sekhar Kammula to direct the films for the South India market.

Nawazuddin to play money laundering tycoon in Black Currency

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who started his film career in 1999 with Shool and has done around 30 films till now including <em>Kahaani, Gangs of Wasseypur </em> and <em>Talaash, </em> is churning stellar performances one after another. With him getting widely appreciated in his latest release <em>Talaash</em>, it's not a surprise that his bag is full with challenging roles. While on one hand, he has Ketan Mehta's Mountain Man, on the other he has been signed up for <em>Black Currency</em>.

Kahaani bags 'Best Screenplay' award at South Asian Rising Star Film Award

Ever since its release, Pen India Pvt. Ltd and director Sujoy Ghosh’s film Kahaani, has been winning accolades one after the other. Recently, at the South Asian Rising Star Film Awards at New York, USA, the Sujoy Ghosh-helmed film won the award for Best Original Screenplay. The director got the award for the best screenplay amongst nominees like Anurag Kashyap for <em>Gangs Of Wasseypur</em>, Akshat Verma for <em>Delhi Belly</em>, Juhi Chaturvedi for <em>Vicky Donor</em> and Gurvinder Singh for <em>Alms Of The Blind Horse</em>.
