Kayamath goes in for a five year leap

Yet another Balaji show has gone for a generation leap to keep its audience hooked onto the show. Ekta Kapoor’s late night show <em> Kayamath </em> has undergone a generation leap of five years and miseries of the lead characters Prachi (Panchi Bora) and Milind (Shabbir Ahluwalia) continue. According to a source from the show, “The track now will have a Bengali family residing in Kolkata to which Prachi would go leaving Milind behind. The new track would start with Durga puja in Kolkata. The new Bengali family will be shown on Thursday.”

Panchi walks the tight rope

Panchi Bora who rose to heights with Star Plus <em> Kayamath,</em> is one busy actress. The actress is also a student and her exams are round the corner. Currently she is burning the midnight oil studying for her final exams as well as shooting for her show. Panchi talks to tellychakkar about her tight schedule and how she is currently walking the tight rope. “Well it’s really difficult but both the things are important for me. It becomes difficult to manage everything single- handedly,” says Panchi.

Jay Bhanushali is jobless

Jay Bhanushali aka Neev of <em> Kayamath</em> has decided to leave the show. His initial meaty role has been reduced to just few lines on the show which forced the actor to call it quits. In his last chat with tellychakkar Jay had mentioned that he was happy with his character and had no plans of leaving the show. Jay avers jokingly, “You have to be sweet at times.”

Jay’s first global performance

Jay Bhanushali who recently turned dancer with <em> Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa</em> is all set for his maiden international performance in Dubai. The <em>Jhalak</em> team is taking Jay and Sandhya for a dance concert in the desert city. “I’m very excited and rehearsing very hard. I managed to take some time out from my hectic shooting schedule. I’m really looking forward to the performance,” says Jay.

Panchi Bora has no time

The<em> Kayamath</em> girl, Panchi Bora is very busy these days with her shooting schedule and her up coming exams. She is currently in her last year of Arts and is finding it difficult to cope up with studies. “My finals are round the corner. I don’t get much time for studying but still I’m trying to cope up with it. In this industry it’s tough to maintain the TRP’s,” says Panchi.

Jay Bhanushali to venture outside Balaji

Jay Bhanushali started his television career with Balaji's <em> Kayamath</em> . He was the lead with Panchi Bora , but later there was a sudden shift in the serial and Jay was seen playing the second fiddle in the serial. Jay also participated in Sony's dance based reality show <em> Jhalak Dikhla Ja</em>-2 and was one of the three finalists.

Jay is a full of activities

Jay Bhanushali is busy sweating it out these days. The chocolate boy is trying very hard to balance his work. Since the last few days, Jay is not seen much in <em> Kayamath</em> as the track focuses on Shabbir Ahluwalia (Milind) and Panchi Wora (Prachi)? So where is Neev (Jay Bhanushali)? “As I’m very busy with <em> Jhalak,</em> the<em> Kayamat’s</em> production house has spared me from the tight shooting schedule. I’m thankful to them but now I’ve to return,” says Jay.

Exam time for Panchi Bora

Prachi of <em> Kayamath</em> aka Panchi Bora is dealing with tough times these days. She is giving her mid term exams and at the same time shooting for her show.She has to jump from one place to another as her college is in Pune. "Currently, my exams are going on and will get over on Monday. Though I have managed to get three days off, I still have to 'up-down' for the shoot if urgently required. It's hectic but I can't leave both as they are equally important to me," says Panchi.

Eijaz on a sabbatical!

A fter creating waves in Balaji's <em> Kayamath</em>, wonder what the saucy and dapper Eijaz Khan is up to these days? Last heard he had turned down Ekta's Dubai-based show, <em> Khwaish</em>. So we confront the actor and query him what kept him busy all this while and also figure out his career developments. "Yes, Ekta did approach me, but at that time I was busy with my sister's wedding. I explained to her my schedule and she was ok with it. I have no problem with Ekta at all," is all his says.

Ronit Roy: Exciting week ahead

Ronit Roy is an excited man these days. Especially about the coming week. For two reasons. First, he says he is looking forward to some good news which will give viewers another chance to see him on the small screen. "There's a new show I am discussing with a production house. I should know which way the talks will go this week," he says. This week is also important for him because his character of Inder in <em> Kayamath </em> on Star Plus is going to come into the limelight. "The twists and turns are going to come up this week," he says. "The plot is going to get interesting."
