A fter creating waves in Balaji's Kayamath, wonder what the saucy and dapper Eijaz Khan is up to these days? Last heard he had turned down Ekta's Dubai-based show, Khwaish. So we confront the actor and query him what kept him busy all this while and also figure out his career developments. "Yes, Ekta did approach me, but at that time I was busy with my sister's wedding. I explained to her my schedule and she was ok with it. I have no problem with Ekta at all," is all his says. He further explains, "I have worked non-stop for four years. It was then that I felt the need to take a break. Also my sister's marriage was about to go on floor. It was more important for me, and I was the only one who had to do the running for the arrangements," says the tired Khan post the wedding, which took place on 10th July in Hyderabad. Currently Eijaz is enjoying his much awaited Alpaviram with the family in Hyderabad. So what's the status of the projects that he had signed earlier? "I had not signed anything after Kayamath. Offers did pour in, but I did not have time, so politely I turned them down. I never give a firm yes or no to anyone," says Khan." He concludes like any Balaji loyalist would do, "I would love to work with Ekta if there are good roles coming my way after this break."
