Today, June 27, marks the official release of the much-awaited movie. According to sources, Prabhas was paid Rs 80 crore for his role in the Nag Ashwin-directed movie. According to a report, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan received an equal sum for the movie.

The eagerly awaited Telugu film is also making its Tamil and Hindi debut and it stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone. Many fans already booked seats for the first day of the first show in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Chennai, with advance booking being opened.

Landing such big names wasn't easy; due to self-doubt, Kamal Haasan took over a year to sign up for the movie. During the pre-release event of the movie in Mumbai, Swapna Dutt, the daughter of producer Aswini Dutt, stated, “One of the most difficult casting ever was Kamal sir.”

Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most anticipated films of 2024. The movie's cast was seen responding to questions posed by actor-host Rana Daggubati. Prabhas talked about his collaborations with Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan. Recalling a past meet, Prabhas stepped to touch Amitabh Bachchan's feet but the actor refused.
