In an attempt to pull in more viewers to their afternoon slot Star Plus has come up with their new show <em> Grahasti</em>. The show is produced by Sphere Origin. <em>Grahasti</em> is about a family of seven women and the patriarch of the family. It is a journey of these women as they cope with life after the loss of the only male member of the family.

Gurpreet Singh, who replaced Rajeev Khandelwal as Sujal in <em>Kahiin to Hoga,</em> is all set to return after a long hiatus. The Punjab da puttar will soon been seen in Star Plus' <em> Saarrthi </em> Gurpreet essays the role of Rudra, an NRI from New York. He starts his career by earning just 20 dollars but later goes on to rule New York Stock Exchange. He comes to Mumbai and slowy starts taking over companies.

Star plus's afternoon show <em> Saarrthi </em> would be infused with a fresh story-line in the coming episodes. The step is being taken to pack more drama in the plot that resembles the epic story of <em> Mahabarata</em> in more than one ways.
