After playing hide and seek for a while, it's game over for <em> Solhah Singaarr</em> and <em> Main Aisi Kyun Hoon</em>. The two Sahara One dailies which earlier got an extension will wind up on August 21. The two shows will be replaced by the much awaited reality show <em> Saas vs Bahu </em>which goes on air from August 25. An actor from <em> Main Aisi Kyun Hoon</em> says, "Yes, the show is finally going off air. Presently, we're having a bet on what would be our last date of the shoot. But I reckon it will go off air by Aug 20 as the new reality show commences from the 25th."

Don't blame the Indian Premier League, the axe was hanging dangerously on three shows of Sahara One anyway. Well, the time's finally up for <em> Zaara, Solhah Singaarr</em> and<em> Main Aisi Kyun Hoon</em>. The three shows will wind up at the end of this month. When contacted Sahara One Programming Head Kalyan Sundaram said, "There are a few shows which are under the gun but I can only comment on their fate after a week."

Originally meant to be his show, Gaurav Chopra couldn’t up take the male protagonist’s role in <em> Solhah Singaarr</em> due to other commitments. This role was later made famous by Sachin Tyagi. However, Gaurav couldn’t be denied his space. The actor now enters the show albeit in a different role.

Sahara One’s Solhah Singaar is all set for a bigger twist. A new character is entering the show and it’s none other than Kirti Gaikwad Kelkar. Last seen in Saat Phere she is now back after a sabbatical of four months. With her entry viewers are in for a big twist in the tale. “I’ll be entering as Shagun in the show. Though this character is played by Akangsha but there is a mystery which is yet to be unveiled. I don’t know much about the storyline but I’m very excited about this role,” says Kirti.

After a number of fresh faces being launched on the tube recently, Sahara One has a new kid on the block. Akangsha Rawat, the budding actor from Delhi who has bagged the lead role in <em>Solhah Singaarr</em> as Meera has been staying in the city of dreams for the past two years pursuing her studies in advertising and marketing. Akangsha has done theatre, ad films and music videos (for Parikrama rock band and Mika) back in Delhi. Just one month of trying her luck in the entertainment industry she landed up with her first big break with the channel.

Finally Sahara One has come up with the name and cast of its new daily soap to replace the 8.30pm slot of<em> HKKC</em>. It is called <em>Solhah Singaarr</em> and will be telecast from Monday to Friday October 30th onwards.
