As the current season of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/tusshar-kapoor-judge-jubilee-comedy-circus>Jubilee Comedy Circus</a> grinds to a halt tonight, the production house and Sony is already gearing for the next one. Considering that more and more actors are eager to be part of a comedy reality show it comes as no surprise, the channel is hence keen on launching yet another season.
It is buzzed that Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty and Daler Mehndi will be the guest for the finale where he will be promoting his new film, <em>Thank You.</em>

Looks like Zee is slowly finding its way to the top. This week’s TAM data shows the channel upstaging Colors to grab the No. 2 position on the Hindi GECs charts. According to TAM data in Week 9, the channel’s weekday and weekend primetime programs have strengthened its position vis a vis the competition, and contributed to its improved block lead in the first two months of the year. Week 9 of TAM 2011 shows that Zee TV has gained 23 GRPs to reach at 233 GRPs from last week’s 210.

Last November TellyChakkar reported that Sony would be launching their next big reality show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sony-do-away-indian-idol-and-bring-x-factor>X Factor</a>. Now reports suggest that pan-India auditions for the show are currently on and will end by February-end or early next month.

After tasting success with shows like Geet Hui Sabse Parayi and Miley Jab Hum Tum, Endemol India is now putting finishing touches to the tentatively titled <em>Chaje Chaje Ka Pyaar</em> for Sony. Well, there’s big news for all the loyal viewers of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/cid-oldest-show-going-strongest-too>CID</a>. The longest running fiction show on Sony is according to the grapevine being made into a film.
Fireworks, the producer of <em>CID</em> have grand plans of turning the successful and immensely popular series into a 70 mm dream with the same star cast.
Says a source, “We have been toying with this idea for a long time now, and everything is undergoing a process, as the show is very popular among the masses, and we are working out the other details.”

Says a source, “Talks were on since the previous season ended and Mr Bachchan has now given an official confirmation to Sony for the next two series of the show. And the new season will start soon.”
