Annu Kapur to return to soaps?

Annu Kapur, who was last seen playing Kabir in a DD serial by the same name, might just be back to TV with UTV’s new show on Sony. It’s a Hindi remake of the Tamil show Meeti Oli. A source reveals, “Annu Kapur has already had a talk with the production house and has liked the offer. If all goes well he might soon be playing the father to five daughters in the show. The show is about these five girls who have been living with their doting father after their mother passed away. The girls who believe marriage is a bed of roses are in for some shocks. This is when the family realises its mistake and that’s how the story progresses. The casting for the leads is still on and the show is expected to go on air by March end or beginning of April.” Kapur says, “How do you get to know of it so soon? I have just had a talk with them but I will be meeting them soon to discuss. Nothing has been finalised yet.” On being quizzed about the rumours of his Antakshari coming back, Kapur says,”No there is nothing like that. These are just rumours floating around.”
