(Turner) has announced today (12 April 2012) the decision to cease business operations of its Hindi general entertainment channel Imagine TV, together with its international feed Imagine <em>Dil Se</em>. Yes, folks…Imagine is shutting down and that would mean that all your favourite shows will now bid farewell.

Stories of shows going off air have been making rounds in the media off late. But here’s some news that has come as a breath of fresh air. <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/chandragupta-maurya-air-once-week>Chandragupta Maurya</a></em> aired on Imagine has completed 100 episodes, today.

There was a lot of speculation about <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/film-his-kitty-will-ashish-find-time-chandragupta>Ashish Sharma</a> playing the grown- up Chandragupta in Imagine’s <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/chandraguptas-fight-justice>Chandragupta Maurya</a></em>. However, we had earlier reported that the actor was struggling to find dates for the show as he already bagged a film titled <em>Picture Abhi Baki Hai Mere Dost</em>. But now Ashish has ironed out all his problems and decided to be a part of Imagine’s TRP gainer <em>Chandragupta Maurya</em>.

It’s time for celebration for fans of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/interviews/i-someone-and-want-end-her-harshad-chopda>Harshad Chopda</a> as they will soon get to see their favourite star on Imagine TV’s new show which will be produced by <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/djs-next-imagine>DJ’s A Creative Unit</a>. The show will be loosely based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi.
