Durga Puja: Bengali actors talk about their fashion trends

Finally the durga puja fervor is here. With the festivities all set to begin, our favourite Bengali TV and film actors are rushing to their favourite designers to finalise their outfits.

Yes, it's the time of the year when everyone wants to look the best and become the next fashion icon.

We thus got our favourite TV and Bollywood celebs to talk about what they are wearing this Durga Puja..Have a look...

Priyanka Sarkar: I will mostly go for casuals and long dresses. I will also be wearing a saree. During Pujo, I like to wear attires that are simple and easy to carry. I have some designer friends so I think I will pick something up from their collections.

Rehaan Roy: Puja is always special to me. Looking at the scorching heat outside I think I will keep my clothes very simple. I like classy casuals with minimum accessories and yes with a cool pair of shoes…and I will mostly go with them but in Navami I have some function to attend for which I’m planning to wear Indian and I will be wearing an outfit by Rohit Verma, who is a very good friend of mine. So, cheers to all the readers for Puja.

Mishmee Das: Well, my puja outfits have to be dressy since it’s Pujo but at the same time I should feel comfortable in them too. Most of the times, I go for only ethnic attires and this year I have got all sorts of sarees like dhakai, chiffon, kantha stitch, handloom. I am planning to wear them this Pujo.

Payel De: I will be wearing mainly Indian outfits matching with Bindi and yes, I love silver junks. Currently, I am going crazy about silver jewelries.

Somraj Maity: During Durga Puja, I do not work. So it’s a four days leave for me. During the occasion, I go for pandal hopping and hang out with my buddies for an adda session. I prefer to wear light coloured outfits in the morning and in the night I usually opt for casual or formal wears.

Alivia Sarkar: I will go for simple and cute dresses which will comprise of salwar, saree and kurta. I will wear whichever dress strikes me first in the morning. I am not a jewelry person but I am fond of toe rings and anklets. I love the sound of the ghungroos. Wearing anklets give me girlie confidence.
