Mother’s Day is that special day in your life when you show your love and appreciation towards your beloved mother. And everyone has his own special way of celebrating it with their proud mother. While some prefer giving cards or flowers, others choose dining out or spending the entire day with their mother as the perfect way of celebrating Mother’s Day. We spoke to a few television celebrities to find out about their special plans for Mother’s Day.
Rati Pandey:
The best Mother’s Day gift I have given to my mother was a diamond ring which I had purchased with my very first earnings. However, I feel all mothers of this world will only have one wish which is to see their kids being happy and becoming successful. There are times when we happen to snap at them. So this Mother’s Day I am going to compensate and spend some quality time with my mother who is a housewife. I plan to make her feel extremely special. Also, I plan to send my parents on a world tour soon.
Kunal Karan Kapoor:
I lost my mother when I was nine years old. I feel the best Mother’s Day gift for any mother would be to know that her child is alright and is a good citizen of the country.
Additi Gupta:
My mom is an awesome housewife but she gets paranoid cooking everyday which ends up making her stressful. The best Mother’s Day gift I can give my mother is by learning to cook and then cooking and feeding her every single day.
Sana Khan:
My mother was a beautician earlier and now she is a housewife. I feel all mothers want to see their kids to be successful which will ultimately make them proud. Materialistic gifts can bring in small happiness but real happiness will happen when she will see me at a stage where I would be successful and will feel proud about me.
Ssharad Malhotraa:
My ideal way of celebrating Mother’s Day is by buying a lot of gifts for my mother Neera Malhotra. I have never told her ‘I love you’ in person. So that's something which I plan to do. She cooks the best rajma chawal and paneer capsicum in this world for me. I remember dedicating my first Best Actor award to her. I honestly have not decided what I would be gifting her this time but I know that she has a fetish for watches so maybe I will gift a cool watch that will give her the best of times ahead!
Anup Soni:
This Mother’s Day I would like to give a message to my mother, who has always supported me in whatever I wanted to do. I feel proud to be her son and credit her for all my success. I always try to keep her happy every day in my life. Happy Mother’s day Mummy and I love you.
Aniruddh Dave:
The biggest celebration of my life happens whenever my mother Rajula Dave is with me. I want to tell her Tere Bina Kya Wajood Mera. But I know she will say for sure that you should do these filmy baatein only in front of the camera. I love paneer garnished with coconut which she cooks especially for me. She doesn't believe in taking gifts but always gifts me and says “Tu khush reh that will be my biggest gift.” It's her pet dialogue.
Kunal Thakkur:
I really love my mother Anita Thakkur. My mother is the most giving person ever and I never heard her saying no to anything. Butter chicken is my favourite dish which my mom cooks for me. My mom always wanted me to win a trophy in tennis and the day I won that trophy she was overwhelmed and till date considers that to be her biggest gift ever. This time I am gifting her a holiday package to USA.
