For the first time, the world is so hooked to the elections of a different country. Today is the ‘big day’ in United States as people will vote for their next President.
And fighting the battle, two strong contenders have stood out- Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The ex-First Lady Clinton brings about experience and Trump on the other hand is lauded for his honest approach.
Popular TV celebs get talking and take their pick among the duo!
Sayantani Ghosh: Hillary Clinton for obvious reasons! I am supporting women power and Trump in my opinion is not the most appropriate human being and we all know why. Good wishes to her.
Lalit Bisht: My vote goes to Clinton family. I am sure their rule will make things much better for US and its relation with the other countries.
Shampa Banerjee: I am always in favour of democracy so I support Hillary Clinton for the President of the United States.
Chetan Hansraj: I would choose Donald Trump as whatever is in his mind, he speaks it openly. Although yes, I don’t support his religious take but he is not diplomatic and that makes him stand strong. Also he comes from an influential background and thus will run after money if he wins but would rather work towards building a better future of the country.
Rytasha Rathore: I don’t have an opinion about the US elections so would refrain from commenting.
Hiten Tejwani: Hands down Hillary. She is fair and I know most people in US are also rooting for her. She deserves the post as throughout the tenure of Bill Clinton she has been there, knows what the country needs at the moment.
Rajdeep Gupta: Well, I am not too fond of both so won't be able to comment on this.
Manasi Salvi: The vast amount of work that Hillary has done, I think she deserves to win the elections. Also it's time that we welcome the women era.
Pawan Shankar: Hillary Clinton as she would be the first women president of the US. The country can then look at the world from a woman perspective, enough of male rulers there. Also language is the most important form of expression and Trump fails on that front, so my vote is definitely for Hillary.
Ravish Desai: Dear America, This is the moment of truth! It's funny how someone like Trump has gotten this far, although we have derived significant comedic pleasure watching him run, it's time now to take this election seriously. We, the world, will be but a spectator as this event unfolds, hoping that you do right by human kind.
Preetika Rao: Donald Trump has been quite a racists and a sexist too while Hillary on the other side has been the First Lady for eight years and has seen politics so closely through the eyes of her husband Bill Clinton. She has also worked as the Secretary of the State under Obama's Presidency and therefore understands the world dynamics much better.
