My Daddy Cool

My Daddy Cool
He’s crazy like a fool. What about it daddy cool. Daddy daddy cool…these lyrics sung by Boney M started playing in our heads when we thought about asking our famous TV stars about the coolest things about their daddies. And on getting the answers what we learnt is that they are no fools but definitely dad cools. Juhi Parmar: He has never got angry on me or scolded me come what may for every time he tried he would end up smiling. Amit Tandon: The coolest thing about my dad is that he loves dancing to bhangra and is always the life of parties at family functions. Shakti Arora: He said I Love You to my mom for the first time on a reality show. Since he is a very shy person I think it was really cool of him to express his love in front of the world. Karan V Grover: When I was a kid till the age of six my dad would take me on his bullet (bike) to the airport every Sunday morning to see the planes take-off and land. On the bike I would sit in front of him and mother would sit behind him. I think it was super cool. Roop Durgapal: The coolest thing about my papa is that he is extremely jovial and being almost double my age even today I can sometimes fondly address him as Jaggu Dada instead of papa (His name is Dr. Jagdish Durgapal) and he is always chilled out about it. Kanwar Dhillon- My dad Deep Dhillon has loads of cool things about him but the best thing that I like about him is that he is a very nature loving person. He makes it a point to plant trees and take care of animals. Also his on screen personality is completely different as he is not at all serious but a really ‘cool’ person in real life. Rafi Malik- There are loads of cool things about my dad Saif Malik. He was a superb cricketer and I really looked up to him on that part. Apart from winning numerous trophies for himself, he has also trained loads of children in the game. And a lot many among them have gone on to play Ranji too. Nikitin Dheer- The one cool thing about my dad Pankaj Dheer is that rather being a typical dad he is more like my friend. I can talk and discuss anything and everything with him which is the coolest quality any child would want in their dad. We are very close and he is my ultimate hero. Roshni Chopra: I was into theater earlier and that included erratic work timings. Interestingly, my father would show up out of nowhere at my rehearsals and place a dabba to make it a point that I was well feed. I did not like it most of the times for I wanted my space but he always had his way. I think he was a perfect mix of a loving, caring and supportive father, who also gave me enough independence to enjoy it all. Gautam Rode: He always wore stylish suits while going to work and he would get six to seven suits made in a month. I found that quite cool. Happy Father’s Day to all!
