After playing the lead in Sony Entertainment Television’s Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara, actress Sangeeta Ghosh is back on prime time with Parvarrish Season 2.

Sangeeta, who plays mother of a teenage girl and boy in the show, believes that playing mother is something different for her.

While it is true that there is no correct method of raising children, a few parenting tips could go a long way in ensuring the happiness of your child.

One of the most important parenting tips is that you should speak less and hear more. Parents tend to give more advice; it is important that they also hear their kids’ situations too.

Let them become whatever they have to become. Your child need not do what you did in your life. Give them their space.

Maintain a friendly relationship. Stop imposing yourself on the child and create a strong friendship rather than being a boss.

Children will make mistakes, so be ready for it. Don’t scream at them, make them understand their mistakes and help them learn through it.

And finally the most important thing is be patient. And try to understand them.
