Women’s Day offers you an opportunity to make your woman feel special and pampered for all that she has done for you. On this special occasion, we ask our TV divas what it takes to be a woman...take a look:
Barkha Bisht:
It feels great to be a woman. We are the ones who create life and take the generation forward. In today’s time, we are at par with men. I am glad that I have a lovely daughter in my life. I would request all to respect and love women.
Monica Bedi:
It is a great feeling to be a woman. I truly appreciate the fact that women are independent and are giving a tough fight to the world. There is no job that we can’t perform. The most beautiful and strongest part is the willpower that we have. So big cheers to all the women in the world! Stay happy always.
Rashami Desai:
Firstly, a happy Women’s Day to all the lovely women out there. It’s a day to celebrate 'you'. Women always sacrifice and have a giving nature but this is a day when you should look after yourself. Today, most women know what their rights are. So keep up the good work and always spread the love.
Simone Singh:
Women’s Day is a great concept as it brings attention to the cause of gender equality. It’s good to stop and focus on this once a year, but the issues need to be worked on continuously till this inequality is rectified. As a society, we have made some progress, but there is still a very long way to go before all human beings are treated fairly and equally regardless of race, sexual orientation and gender.
Rachana Parulkar:
Women are really strong, independent and wise. We don’t need anyone’s approval for anything or character certificate from anyone. We work hard, take care of family and kids. We need to realise our worth and not let anybody pull us down. Live life peacefully, strongly, with determination, happy and with lot of respect and dignity.
Shruti Ulfat:
Being born as women is a very fortunate thing. I personally feel that women become complete and more gracious with men coming to their lives. From Mother Earth to Shakti, Kali, Dharti and Parvati all are powerful women. I am proud to be a woman and a mother.
Here's wishing all the lovely ladies out there a very happy Women's Day!
