MUMBAI:Teju confronts Mukta, asking if she told the Chavan family that she didn’t want the marriage. Mukta confirms she did, but Teju points out that they refuse to listen. Frustrated, Teju criticizes the Chavan family for controlling their lives and declares she can’t live under such conditions. Mukta insists she must learn to adjust, but Teju questions if she is expected to compromise for those imposing their will on them. She expresses anger over being forced into marriage and Vedaant being placed in a government school. Mukta defends the decision, arguing that many successful individuals have studied in government schools.
Meanwhile, Manjari questions Neil about leaving such a crucial decision in his parents’ hands. Neil responds that he trusts them but asks if a person cannot change his decision. Manjari tells him he must fight for his happiness. Amai, Nandini, and Prachi overhear and urge Neil not to listen to Manjari, accusing her of manipulating him against the family. Amai demands to know why Manjari is interfering, but she stands firm, saying she would normally remain silent, but since it concerns Neil, she won’t back down.
Mukta later tells Teju that Neil said something unusual at the temple—he wants to marry her and will wait for her decision. Teju immediately dismisses the idea and questions why Mukta hasn’t rejected him outright. Mukta reveals she already declined his proposal, but Neil mentioned that Mohit wanted to arrange Teju’s marriage. Teju assumes Neil only said that out of pity, believing he saw the difference in their lives before and after moving from Amaravati. She firmly declares she will never marry someone like Neil. When Mukta defends him and reminds her of all he has done for their family, Teju refuses to accept his proposal but insists she isn’t insulting him.
Tensions escalate when Nandini accuses Manjari of not understanding the meaning of family. A heated argument ensues, and Neil steps in, asking them to stop. Prachi reminds Neil they are visiting Juno’s house the next day and asks if he will join. Amai warns Neil to focus only on Juhi and not anyone else. Manjari defends Neil, saying he doesn’t owe anyone an explanation, but Prachi urges her to stay out of their conversation. Amai questions when Manjari will move on from the past, to which Manjari bitterly replies that she will never forget or forgive. She storms off, and Neil, overwhelmed, asks everyone to leave him alone.
