MUMBAI:Tejaswini expresses her frustration, believing that Mukta doesn’t trust her ability to care for herself and their family. Mukta clarifies that her concern isn’t about Tejaswini’s capability but rather her distrust in fate, citing their financial instability and lack of savings. When Vedaan questions their argument, Tejaswini scolds him for interrupting, making him cry. She later apologizes, explaining her frustration. Mukta insists that Tejaswini has a chance at a stable life and questions whether love is necessary for marriage. She argues that Neil is a wonderful person, and any girl would fall for him.

Meanwhile, Juhi confides in Aditi about her doubts regarding her worthiness for Neil. Aditi reassures her, expressing confidence that Neil will make her happy. Juhi hopes everything will fall into place, and Aditi comforts her with a hug. Mukta reminds Tejaswini that Mohit wanted her to marry Neil, but Tejaswini refuses to discuss it, fearing unnecessary drama. Vedaan asks whether Neil has feelings for Tejaswini, prompting her to shut him down. She argues that bad times pass, but poor decisions have lasting consequences. She insists Neil’s and Juhi’s marriage is already arranged, and nothing will change.
Mukta reveals that Neil actually wants to marry Tejaswini, but Tejaswini dismisses it, believing it to be pity rather than love. Mukta counters, claiming Neil genuinely likes her, but Tejaswini denies having feelings for him. Mukta taunts her, implying she knows what Tejaswini truly wants. Tejaswini firmly declares she doesn’t want to marry and finally understands why Mohit made certain choices, stating that no one can endure living with Lakshmi. Vedaan mentions Mukta’s struggles, and Tejaswini promises to enroll him in school. Mukta warns that their family won’t allow Tejaswini to complete her education, but Tejaswini is determined to take her exams and fulfill Mohit’s dream.
The next day, Neil calls Tejaswini regarding Vedaan’s admission. She questions why he cares so much, reminding him that he’s engaged to Juhi. Neil explains that his concern stems from his connection with her family and Mohit. Tejaswini asks to meet him outside, and he agrees. Meanwhile, Sonali suggests sending shagun to Neil’s family, but Satish reveals Neil’s family has already sent it. As they open the sweets, Vedaan eagerly reaches for one, only to have Lakshmi slap his hand away. She then taunts him but eventually distributes sweets to everyone.
Elsewhere, Neil notices a group of children about to throw water balloons at Tejaswini. Acting quickly, he parks his car between them to shield her. When he asks her to get in, Tejaswini stubbornly argues with him.
