Good Samaritan Aparna!

Being afraid of dogs need not be a deterrent to help a hapless canine. This was proved when Aparna Tilak found a wounded Labrador pup, ill-treated by its owners, lying in the colony where she stays. She picked it up and went searching for the right person to take care of the puppy.
Being afraid of dogs need not be a deterrent to help a hapless canine. This was proved when Aparna Tilak found a wounded Labrador pup, ill-treated by its owners, lying in the colony where she stays. She picked it up and went searching for the right person to take care of the puppy. Says a concerned Aparna, "I was so furious as to how could anyone treat a small, helpless animal like that. So, I called up some so-called animal lovers and when they did not respond, I thought of Anju Mahendroo who works for the animal society but I could not reach her. Then it suddenly struck me that Chandana Sharma of Yeh Dil Chahe More fame, is a dog lover." Now, after handing over the injured pup to Chandana, Aparna is at peace, as she heaves a sigh of relief, "at least the dog is in safe and loving custody!" We say the pup was lucky to have under Aparna's purview or else. Krish comes of age! Krish, the adorable kid from Zee's Mamta recently started going to the playschool and turned out to be ultra famous in the school thanks to the show and his character. The lil champ has started understanding a lot of technicalities and functioning of the television industry. Krish understands his cues and dutifully returns his lapel mike to the one who gives it and not to any one else (probably he knows jiski cheez usiko deni chahiye). He understands what a pack up means while he used to call it 'pa' some time ago. Now he pronounces it properly and promptly tells the same to his director after his shot is over. Couple capers! It is very easy to decide on a birthday gift for a lady but when it comes to a man, it becomes difficult to choose. When we called up Mannini De, she was busy applying a face pack to hubby dearest Mihir Mishra. On the cards were a manicure, pedicure, foot massage, hair treatment etc as his birthday is fast approaching and wifey wants the metrosexual male to glow and shine. We say, what better gift than such TLC (tender loving care, for the uninitiated), so rare in today's times. What has Mannini planned for Mihir on his birthday? "I have not yet decided," chuckled De or does she not wish to reveal it earlier? We are sure there are a few surprises coming Mihir's way on his D-day! Munisha's tarot card sessions It seems Munisha Khatwani is getting more famous for her tarot card reading skills than acting. A TV celeb on grounds of anonymity told us that she had a tarot session with Munisha and was surprised when she had to cough up 1000 bucks for the same. While as established tarot card readers would have charged only 500 bucks more. Another TV actor said while commenting on Munisha's tarot session, "she is OK but charges more just because she is constantly seen on page 3 nowadays." Now that is a fodder for thought. We suggest Munisha to lower down the price a bit so that more and more people including our actor fraternity can benefit from her tarot reading skills.
