I have a love-hate relationship with my mother: Sara Khan

Sara Khan

She is hot, she is successful and she is one power packed performer. Yes, we are talking about ‘the’ Sara Khan.

Be it the ideal beti (daughter) in Bidaai or a shape shifting Naagin Sasural Simar Ka or donning the dual avatar of mother and daughter in Bhagyalaxmi- she has enacted all parts with equal élan.

Like every daughter, the cheerful Sara too shares a special warm bond with her mother. In a candid chat with Tellychakkar.com, she talks more on the sublime relationship.

“It has always been a love-hate relationship with my mother (smiles). Definitely I deeply adore my mom, Seema Khan, but I get annoyed with her at times. Like every parents, she provides me with certain words of wisdom, which I refuse to listen. And after some time, I realize how correct she was and regret my decision. Initially when she advices me, I give a deaf ear to my mother (laughs).”

Sharing her special memories, Sara says, “Everyday we are making some special memories. One I still remember is the time when she slapped me when I was in my 10th standard. I was supposed to attend my tuition classes, but bunked it to hang out with friends. Later on, when she found about it, she slapped me hard on my face. And as I have mentioned earlier, I hated her that time, but now I realize it was for my well being.”

As Cello’s new heartrending ad campaign (check the video below) triggered a stream of nostalgia in the actress, Sara shares, “I believe the initiative is a correct way to target the audience. Mother-daughter relation has always been special to everyone and I believe all can easily relate to the emotions.”

Sara, we wish you and your mom a great year ahead.
