MUMBAI: Shivansh reveals to Karan that Smita is his biological mother who abandoned him during his childhood. Smita breaks down upon hearing the revelation. Karan sympathizes but reminds Shivansh that he has still wronged Raunak and Prarthna. Shivansh explains that he always hated his father because of Smita, and since Smita deeply loves Raunak, he targeted Raunak to hurt her and avenge his past. He believes his actions were justified in seeking peace for his father’s soul.

Prarthna overhears the entire conversation and is shocked by the revelation. Smita hides her emotions from Payal, who believes they’ve settled scores with Shivansh. However, Smita, moved by her past, feels Shivansh shouldn’t be punished. Meanwhile, Kanti urges Raunak to return home, but he refuses and vows to destroy Shivansh’s happiness. He confronts Shivansh, who brushes him off and walks away.
At the venue, a staff member hastily eats some food before serving it and immediately falls ill. Preeta questions him, and they discover a rat dying after eating the same food, raising suspicions. Smita arrives and stops the staff from serving, revealing herself as Smita Zaveri. She sternly warns Preeta and confirms that the food is poisoned. Preeta runs to alert the guests. Prarthna is stunned, and chaos erupts as several guests fall sick, including Karan, who begins to feel dizzy. Prarthna apologizes and rushes to get help.
Preeta checks on Karan, sensing a strange connection with him. She tells him he feels familiar. Prarthna insists Karan needs to be taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, Payal finds Neha hiding and questions her about leaking the information. Neha denies it and expresses fear of the police, leaving Payal worried about Smita’s reaction.
As news of the food poisoning spreads, Shivansh and Bua Maa are alerted. Raunak and his family grow tense. Gayatri mentions Karan was eating sweets earlier, prompting Shivansh to rush to check on him, but Karan is gone. Shivansh contacts his doctor friend for assistance. He suspects Raunak’s involvement, while Bua Maa informs him that an ambulance is on the way. Preeta and Prarthna take Karan to the hospital. Tanya calls Prarthna and advises her to inform the doctor and secure beds for the sick guests. Prarthna leaves to handle it, while Preeta stays with Karan, feeling an emotional pull. A nurse asks Preeta to fill out Karan’s details or his treatment will stop.
Back at the house, police arrive to investigate. Smita tells them she warned the staff about the poisoning. Payal is confused about why Smita sabotaged their plan. Shivansh still refuses to forgive Smita, even though her actions saved lives. Smita insists she acted out of humanity.

The inspector demands to speak with the catering head, suggesting internal negligence. Everyone is asked to remain on-site. Payal confronts Smita about her confession. Smita reveals she first informed Priya Saluja (Preeta). Alarmed, Payal warns that Priya could expose them. They plot to frame Priya before she can speak up. Meanwhile, Prarthna supports Shivansh at the hospital. At home, Bua Maa is distressed by the unfolding chaos and starts to suspect Smita’s role in the disaster.
