The soft spoken Shilpa Anand, who beautifully mesmerizes the audience through her beautiful looks and charming personality, recently completed her Bollywood movie The Mall. Right now she is enjoying her time and also looking out for some interesting projects.
In a talk with Tellychakkar.com, Shilpa gives some investment tips to our readers.
How important is money to you?
Money is very important; it is very essential for a basic lifestyle. But money is not everything to me; my health is my first priority.
Are you an impulsive buyer?
Not really. If it is something that I have wanted for a long time and if I happen to spot the same, I will make sure that I buy it.
What are the investments that you have made?
Apart from my regular policies, I have invested in real estate too.
What has been your most expensive purchase?
Among the fixed investments, I have bought a property and among the luxury assets, my diamond ring is my most expensive buy.
Do you feel financially secured?
Since my mother handles my expenses, I would have to check with her. But if she is financially secured, so am I (smiles).
Who handles your expenses?
As I mentioned earlier, my mother handles my expenses.
What was your first salary?
My first salary was Rs. 5000 that I got for anchoring a stage show when I was just 14.
How much money do you carry every day?
I carry just a meagre amount of Rs. 100 everyday, unless I have to go for an occasion where I would be required to spend a lot. Additionally, I do make sure that I carry plastic money in case of emergency.
Your advice to new investors?
I would advise people to invest in real estate which can help them in future unless they are super rich.
