Once I had to face a lot of criticism for wearing a small red tacky dress: Ankita Sharma

The very cute and beautiful Ankita Sharma, who began her television career after playing Ratna Singh in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo on Zee TV, proved to be lucky as in a relatively short time span she bagged the lead role in Sony TV’s Baat Hamari Pakki Hai and was much appreciated essaying the role of Sanchi. In a meet with Tellychakkar.com, the talented lady talks about fashion, her likes and dislikes. Fashion is: Fashion can be anything in which a person feels comfortable. Who chooses your clothes? I choose myself. Do you wear accessories? Yes, I have a huge collection of accessories especially rings. Do you follow any brands? Yes, I love the collections that brands like Bebe, Zara and United Colors of Benetton have to offer. Favourite shopping destination? I, for one, do not really have a favourite shopping destination. If I find something on the streets which I like, I would buy it. Most expensive buy: My most expensive buy was a diamond ring. Clothes you are comfortable in: I am very comfortable in wearing Indian clothes. Must have in your wallet: Money is a must have in my wallet. Favourite perfume: I love wearing Hugo Boss. Describe sale in one word: Raddi saman. Currently your wardrobe is overflowing with? Lots of clothes especially the western wears which I hardly wear. You have the hardest time getting dressed for: I always take a lot of time getting dressed when I have to go out. Any fashion disaster you have come across recently? I faced a fashion disaster myself when I had to go for a red carpet premiere. Since then I was busy shooting for Amrit Manthan I called up my designer and asked her to manage a dress for the premiere. I wore a short red dress that was very tacky and had to later face a lot of criticism for wearing it. If you had to choose a fashion era, which period will it be? This era of course; I think anything people wear today becomes a style statement.
