MUMBAI:Everyone laughs upon seeing Kusum’s short hair. Mangal questions her about it, and Kusum explains that it was accidentally cut at the parlour. Meanwhile, Sowmya stirs trouble at home, blaming Mangal for Kusum’s hair. At the competition, Mangal is asked to present her idea, but Kusum steps in and explains it instead. After the round, the host announces that no one will be eliminated, and the next challenge is to create a jingle. Later, Niketan and his mother mock Kusum, forcing Mangal to remove her from the situation.

Back home, Sudesh advises Adit not to blame Mangal without understanding the full story. However, when Mangal and Kusum arrive, Adit immediately holds Mangal responsible. Kusum tries to defend her, but Adit shuts her down, calling Mangal an embarrassment. Devastated, Kusum locks herself in her room. Mangal pleads with her to open the door, but Kusum asks to be left alone. Sudesh advises Mangal to give her space.
The next day, Mangal prepares for the Shivratri pooja. Despite Mangal’s efforts, Kusum refuses to leave her room. Shanti and Lipika visit, praising Mangal’s participation in the competition. Sowmya arrives with Adit and offers to perform the pooja in Kusum’s place. Shanti scolds her, but Mangal calms the situation. Feeling triumphant, Sowmya drinks the masala milk meant for the bhog, unaware of its effects.
As the pooja begins, Sowmya starts feeling dizzy. Seizing the chance, Shanti locks her in her room so Mangal can perform the ritual. Meanwhile, Niketan sneaks into Mangal’s house disguised as a worker, planning to sabotage her competition chances.
In a parallel storyline, Karthik refuses to eat dinner unless Lakshmi eats lunch. Later, he decorates the house for a surprise, leading Jia to believe he is about to propose. When Lakshmi and Raghuveer arrive, Karthik announces a double date. During dinner, Karthik teases Lakshmi, while Raghuveer also faces questions. Jia encourages Lakshmi to try Mexican food, but Karthik quickly reveals she dislikes it. Raghuveer grows suspicious and asks how Karthik knows. Karthik nervously attributes it to Mangal.

When Karthik asks to see their wedding photos, Lakshmi and Raghuveer panic and evade the question. Growing doubtful, Karthik directly asks if they are truly married. Overwhelmed, Lakshmi spills her juice and leaves. Raghuveer follows, pretending to help. Seeing Lakshmi’s distress over their wedding photo, Raghuveer quietly steps away. He later confesses to Karthik that he and Lakshmi are only pretending to be married. As Lakshmi returns, Karthik looks at them with curiosity, processing the revelation.
